@ 23 I had our first son, Josiah.
@ 24 I had our second son, Micah.
@ 26 I had our third child, our daughter Ella.
@ 29 we adopted our fourth child, Caleb.
@ 30 we started our homeschool journey.
@ 32 we purchased our dream home and renovated it.
Life moved so quickly for me. When I was in high school I vowed to date a man for 5 years before I married him. I wanted to live by myself for a full year. I wanted to travel, and I wanted a career. God knew better than I did. I was studying Communication with the idea of becoming some fancy cooperate communication specialist. I was not looking to date. In fact, I had never had a boyfriend, and wasn't looking to. But I couldn't resist James. God placed him in my life exactly when I needed him.
I have always been a woman of faith, and I trust God completely. I was waiting for God to place a man in my life who would lead me closer to God. James is that man. I am so blessed to be married to a man that leads and guides our family, and puts us at the top of his list.
My children are something special. I am blessed to have three rambunctious boys, and one amazing daughter. We have been so blessed to experience love through biological birth and adoption. Caleb was born in 2013 and became our son through adoption!
I love being a mother. I love that I am fortunate to stay at home with my kids. I get a little misty thinking of the day I'll be an empty nester ~gasp~. This blog is the perfect way for me to share these memories with my family, and friends. And one day, even with my children. These are the moments I don't want to forget.
I am truly a BLESSED woman.
God is so good to me! And I am so thankful for his constant grace!
