:: When I was 20 I met the man of my dreams (and I knew it right away).
:: When I was 21 I married him.
:: When I was 23 I had our first son, Josiah.
:: When I was 24 I had our second son, Micah.
:: When I was 26 I had our third child, our daughter Ella.
Life moved so quickly for me. When I was in high school I vowed to date a man for 5 years before I married him. I wanted to live by myself for a full year. I wanted to travel, and I wanted a career. God knew better than I did. I was studying Human Communication with the idea of becoming some fancy cooperate communication specialist. I was not looking to date. In fact, I had never had a boyfriend, and wasn't looking to. But I couldn't resist James. God placed him in my life exactly when I needed him.
I have always been a woman of faith, and I trust God completely. I was waiting for God to place a man in my life who would lead me closer to God. James is that man. I am so blessed to be married to a man that leads, and guides our family and puts us at the top of his list.
My children are something special. I am blessed to have two rambunctious boys, and one amazing daughter. I know that our family is not complete yet. We plan on adopting one day. I can't wait to see what our family will look like 5 years from now!
I love being a mother. I love that I am fortunate to stay at home with my kids. I get a little misty thinking of the day I'll be an empty nester ~gasp~. This blog is the perfect way for me to share these memories with my family, and friends. And one day, even with my children. These are the moments I don't want to forget.
I am truly a BLESSED woman.
God is so good to me! And I am so thankful for his constant grace!
