Before and After

It was that time of year again.
It usually only happens once….

I lost 6+ inches that day.

Like any haircut, there's always a shock value associated with it. But I think I'm pretty happy about it
I just need to get used to it.

So what do you think?
I needed a change for sure. I think I got it!

My Go To {Clean} Workout Songs

I was so tired of listening to Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, and Rihanna on my playlist. They have been there since college and that was a "few" years ago.

Sure…it's catchy, upbeat, and fun to work out too. But the problem was I can't STAND the lyrics of nearly every song on my IPod. 

I didn't have music with profanity, but the lyrics were just wretched. Not to mention the lack of musicality and content. Plus, my spirit didn't enjoy it. 

So I went on the hunt for some Chrstians songs that weren't totally lame (and on K-LOVE all.the.time) that could get my blood pumping at the gym.

This Should Infuriate You Too

I normally don't speak about political issues on my blog.

The Holy Spirit has been leading me to be more bold in my faith, and this is a major step for me.

That being said, I have to share this video with you.



Disgusting. Heart-wrenching. Shocking. Unbelievable. 

I can't even begin to process the horror that they found in that house of terror. 

I can't begin to imagine the amount of pain that that man has inflicted on babies and mothers alike. 

I can't believe that this hasn't been all over the news. 

The entire thing is just sickening and infuriating. 

I cried and prayed my way through this video. 

I know that there are many different views about the legalities of abortions. I've heard them all. 

But one of the worries of making them illegal is that the "back ally abortion" would become more prominent and put women at risk.

But this facility was completely "legal". Tell me that this place wasn't performing "back ally abortions".

I can guarantee there are other places like this out there. Truly despicable. 

Something must change.
