Dirt Cake….Seriously Yummy!

After  I took my first bite, I was reminded of my childhood.
My mom used to make this for us.
Good ole' Dirt Cake.

Delicious. *Super Healthy* too.

It's worth every bite!

Dirt Cake

:1/2 cup butter, softened

:1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened

:1/2 cup powder sugar

:2 (3.5 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding

:3 1/2 cups milk

:1 (12oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed in refrigerator

:32 oz Oreos (or generic) cookies

Gummie Worms and Mint (optional)

In a food processor (or a ziploc bag with a rolling pin) crush up your cookies, until they resemble dirt. Set aside.

In another bowl combine butter, cream cheese, powder sugar, milk, vanilla pudding, and whipped topping until smooth.

In a trifle bowl (or cleaned clay pot) begin with a layer of crushed cookie then a layer of cream atop. Continue until you finish with a layer of cookie crumbs on the top.

Top with gummie worms or flowers (optional).

Josiah has his birthday party at The Home Depot (for real!) and this was the perfect cake for a boys building party! It's seriously delicious too! And in this heat I didn't have to bake a thing!!

So there it is….just like mom makes it!

This is a guaranteed hit at any party with kids.
